A1GP: Malaysia 8th in Australian Sprint race and garners 3 points
France wins untroubled from Portugal and Brazil
Great race with two safety car periods in the early laps activated. Great TV imagery of very good crowd attendance in bright early summer sunshine.
Malaysia with Alex Yoong driving had a good start to gain 2 spots but because of the defensive inside line for turn 1 lost a spot back before turn 2.
Malaysia eventually finished 8th after starting 9th on the grid.
