A1 Team Malaysia Hits Kuala Lumpur With Numerous PR Promotions
Plenty of opportunity to catch the drivers, race cars and team as well as see live demo
The A1 Team Malaysia will hit the City of Kuala Lumpur after having both their running cars (chassis no.18 and no.41) off-loaded from the MASKargo plane into the Sepang International Circuit yesterday.
An extensive PR programme to bring the team to the city folks of the Klang Valley has been planned by the home team ahead of next weekend's A1 Grand Prix of Nations - Malaysia.
The race cars will be displayed with drivers present at the Berjaya Times Square, Shangri La Hotel, Sri Pentas/8TV and Souled Out at Mount Kiara on this Sunday and coming Monday.
Team crew will fire up the cars' engines and some spectacular live running will also be done at the Berjaya Time Square and I-Utama with Alex Yoong and Fairuz Fauzy in attendance in Berjaya Times Square and I-Utama respectively on Tuesday afternoon.
Then on the same evening of Tuesday, the team car will conduct a "Rush Hour City Tour" on a driven flatbed in Kuala Lumpur downtown area between 4pm and 8pm with live radio shows.
The promotions will end with a A1 Team Malaysia presentation to the media and guests by Sheikh Maktoum, the President and Founder of A1 Grand Prix on Thursday evening.
So, don't tell us we haven't alerted you of these exciting promotions where you can meet the team members and see as well as hear for yourself this exciting national team of ours which is presently challenging for the top 5 in almost every A1GP race so far held.
Most of these PR happennings are held in areas with great attractions and good accesses for the general public and fans and even for those private functions like the Thursday Presentation, there's no stopping anyone to catch a word or two with the drivers and team members outside the function room at the hallway.

Just wondering how many tickets have been sold so far?..I personally think that it's a little expensive..The price is correct given the status of the event, but bear in mind that we are not UK (mature motorsports market)..For the 1st year, the introductory entrance to the event should have been employed (RM50 or RM 75 maximum) rather than RM200..Once the crowd are warmed up to this great event, PMG can increase to RM100 next year and so on..
Just my 2 cents!!
